Here we are at the beginning of the 4th quarter! Nearly the end of the year. Mrs. Martin and I will be handing out progress reports starting week after next. That will give us a few weeks to get some grades into the computer.
Homework - We will have homework on a weekly basis and unless I say otherwise, it will normally be due on Friday. Please check out our assignment calendar here http://assignaday.4teachers.org/index.php for more information. It is the students' responsibility to write down assignments in their planners, please check with your student on a daily basis for assignments. I do give time in class to start assignments, but they do not always finish in class. You can expect homework in spelling (handwriting and vocabulary), reading (chapter assignments and for-pleasure books), weekly spelling tests (STUDY!), writing and note taking in Social Studies.
